CUSTOM ILLUSTRATIONS:
I can also provide you with custom illustrations which can be used to accent your book. These might be illustrations that you’ll insert within the text, between chapters or in the case of a children’s book they might appear along with the text itself. Please let me know if you are interested in having me draw or paint for you. If desired I will send you the original illustrations via mail for you to keep.
COST and TIME:
Individual variables will affect the cost and time. These include finding images, creating custom artwork, creating custom design and layout etc.. The basic cost for a fully custom eBook Cover, from concept through all the edits needed to completion, is usually around $250. An ebook plus POD or tradtional cover is $350. Costs are negotiable, just let me know what is your budget. Additional cost and time are added for expedited services and for design work that is more complicated or that requires special photography, drawing, painting or other custom services.
FORMATTING
The formatting of books themselves is a separate service which I do not provide. If you are in need of this service or have any questions about it I recommend www.52novels.com.
PRINTING YOUR COVER ON DEMAND
There are additional adjustments that need to be made for a book cover to Print on Demand (POD). Please let me know if you will need this. I will need to know the trim size you are using plus other details including final page count before I can finalize covers with this option, along with any other custom specifications your printer might demand.
TIMEFRAME AND CONCEPT
Most projects take several weeks. The time it will take to create your book cover depends upon your needs and your concept. I will be able to give you an estimated date of completion after we’ve exchanged preliminary information. Having a clear concept will helps things go faster. If you have a clear concept including all the information you want your cover to display (title, author name, blurbs, etc.) plus a general idea for possible imagery your cover should not take very long to complete.
If you do not have any idea what you want or need I can definitely help you to come up with a concept. You can provide me with links to books to use as inspiration. Think about the message you want to convey to your readers. Think about your target audience. The best book cover is the one that you love.

The best way to assure that your message is going to get to the people that you intend for it is to clearly examine all your needs and focus in on your target audience. I want you to love your cover.
